ABOUT THE COMPETITION
YMO Math Tournament 2024 is a competitive mathematics olympiad organized by the Youth Mathematics Organization (YMO). This competition consists of two rounds: a preliminary round hosted online, attracting an estimate of 2000 participants and a final round held at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia with more than 1000 participants representing the twenty five provinces of Cambodia.
TESTING FORMAT
CATEGORIES
The tournament is divided into 5 different categories ranging from grade 3 - 4, grade 5 - 6, grade 7 - 8, grade 9 - 10, grade 11 - 12. In which the test papers wil be distributed accordingly.
ROUNDS
There is a total of 2 rounds; an online round that is held on a testing site and an onsite round that is held at a selected venue in which results will be accounced during the awarding ceremony.
EXAM FORMAT
There are 2 versions of the exam paper: one in Khmer and another in English. The exam paper includes 30 sets of multiple choice questions (MCQ's) with a duration of 90 minutes allocated.
